Welcome to the ACA Scholarship Trust Website

The mission of the ACA Scholarship Trust is to:

“Promote the total development of North Americans of French-Catholic heritage or affinity”.

The ACA Scholarship Trust was established in 1924 by a fraternal benefit society originally named Association Canado-Américaine subsequently named ACA Assurance. The trust was established as a separate not-for profit entity organized under IRS section 501(c)(3). The trust has grown over the years from donations by individuals, past scholarship recipients and by periodic donations from ACA Assurance. ACA Assurance is no longer in existence, however, the Scholarship Trust remains as an organization dedicated to providing funds for students desiring to pursue university or college learning at the undergraduate level.

Since its creation, the Trust has distributed more than $2,000,000 to students to help them continue their education.

Applications are generally available in January. Completed applications must be received by the following April 30 for the school year beginning subsequently in September.
